About this cylinder
This is the one to buy if you do not own a cylinder yet. It is a new Ubao 9kg unit — SABS approved, brass bullnose valve, clean threads, no history — and it arrives full.
After this first purchase you never pay for the cylinder again. Every refill after it is a straight 9kg exchange at exchange pricing, so the cylinder pays itself off over the first few refills.
New cylinders are also the right call for anyone replacing a unit that has failed inspection. If your existing cylinder is rusted, dented or the valve is weeping, do not keep filling it — swap it out.
Best for
- First-time buyers
- Replacing a failed cylinder
- Second home or flat
